  2.             your Visual Basic applications with DScan OCX. This ActiveX control 
  3.             scans a drive or directory for a particular file type. Although it 
  4.             accepts the '*' wildcard, it does not allow '?'. DScan OCX easily 
  5.             retrieves filenames and the complete path to filenames; it also 
  6.             returns the number of matches found. However, it can search for only 
  7.             one file type or filename at a time. The control is well documented 
  8.             and very easy to use.
